FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do membership dates work?

Memberships run from the first to the last day of each month. Pro-rated memberships are only available for 6 days or fewer. If quarterly, they run January 1 – March 31, April 1 – June 30, July 1 – September 30, October 1 – December 31. If annual, they run 12 months from the first of the month to the last day of the 12th month.

What are your hours?

Once you have signed your waiver and received a key to the gym, it is 24 hours, 7 days a week!

Do you host special events?

We do hope to offer special workshops and such soon!

Can I bring a buddy?

At this time, we do not offer any buddy passes. However, if you reside in the same household, we do offer group discount packages for family memberships.

What is expected of members?

Our main rule of thumb is, “Do No Harm”. This includes these rough guidelines:
Be considerate of neighbors and other members: no slamming weights, music is limited to personal devices only, returning equipment to its proper place after use and wiping down equipment for the next person.

It takes hours (literally) to clean just the floor. Please help us by leaving the mud, rocks and debris outside. We have a boot/shoe cleaner and rugs to wipe your feet. We also have a bench at the front entry way to change into your gym shoes!

At what age can someone be a member?

Our minimum age is 14 years old with parental consent. We’ll need the parent to sign the normal waiver and the addendum for minors. It’s all for insurance, sadly, that we aren’t offering younger than 14 years old.

I’d like to gift a membership to someone. How does that work?

SO EXCITED for helping others! We can create a custom gift certificate for you. Simply complete the form on our contact page with all the details. We’ll be in touch asap.

How much profit does the gym currently make?

We’re so happy you asked! The gym does not make a profit at this time. We’re working to support the community; find programs you like and gain interest. We want to encourage more movement for all, and we’re putting all money back into the gym right now.

Can I pay for my membership with cash or check?

Of course! The cash and check rate is $5 more than the price you see online. This price is a little higher because it’s more difficult to manage, keep track of, and a little riskier for us to take these items. If a check is returned, there is a fee of $40 to cover the cost of what the bank charges us for the returned check.

I’m moving. How do I cancel my membership?

If you need to cancel, just send us an email to visionnmotiongym@gmail.com to let us know the final date. You may also cancel within your account here as well. Be sure to cancel 14 days prior to your renewal date to avoid an additional charge. If the key fob is not returned, there is a $10 fee assessed to replace it.

When is my membership fee due?

All fees are due on the 1st day of the month. If payment is received after the 10th of the month, there will be a late fee of assessed in the amount of $10.
